After one of the screenings for Professors and Students of Art, Design and Media at Birmingham City University, UK, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Alison Honour announced that the film to be included as a part of their course curriculum in the university from next academic year onwards.
For the film SHUDDHI, all the participant prisoners got ONE MONTH REMISSION to their sentence.
Inspired by the overall message of this film ROAD TO REFORM, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot decided to set up a placement division for the better rehabilitation of the reformed and released prisoners.
